Day 21

I am grateful that it was a beautiful day. I was able to walk to get some shopping done and the kids trick or treating. They loved getting candy and Xavier slept.
I am grateful that my friend Janine was able to go with me trick or treating tonight, would of been hard going by myself.
I am glad Mike was able to register for school today. His schedule next semester will get to be home at nights. First time since we have had kids that he will have that type of schedule. I would rather have him home at night than in the morning.

Day 20

I am grateful for Sunday, it is always nice to go to church and feel the Spirit. We also have a tradition to go on Sunday drives around the temple. We love doing it and so do Mike and I. We also carved pumpkins today. I was just going to carve Xavier's because the girls were coloring theirs. It was a good day.
I am grateful for Mike, not only did he help with dinner again, but he helped someone get a virus off their computer today.

Day 19
I am grateful for the time I got to spend with my family today.

I am grateful for Mike he made me breakfast today.
I am grateful for my parents, they took me to dinner tonight.
I am grateful for the birthday wishes I got today.

Day 18

I am grateful for Mike, he made me breakfast this morning and cleaned the kitchen.
I am grateful that I had a friend come over today to make ties.
I am grateful I worked on my kids Christmas presents today.
I am grateful for Abigail and funny things she says. This morning Mike told her it was my birthday tomorrow and she said really, that means that grandma Loveless is coming up. Can't you feel the love.

Day 17

I am grateful for my downstairs neighbor, she took my girls for a hour today. I was able to get some housework done.
I am grateful for new recipes, especially when my kids will eat them.
I am grateful for books, sometimes it is just nice to lay back and read.

Day 16

I am grateful that I am slowly starting to feel better.
I am grateful that Abigail went on a field trip today.
I am grateful that Brooklyn ate all of her dinner. Second day in a roll.
I am grateful Mike did the dishes today.

Day 15

I am grateful that my neighbor took my kids today, so I could nap.
I am grateful Xavier took some long naps today.
I am grateful Mike's interview for the internship went well. Can't wait to find out if he gets the internship.

Day 14

I am grateful that I didn't have to cook dinner tonight. I love having dinners with my neighbor. Helps the days go faster.
I am grateful for the nice weather today, was able to take the kids out to play again.
I am grateful Xavier didn't get really hurt the 3 times he pulled toys on top of himself, I am also grateful that when  he got sick today he only threw up one time.
I am grateful that Monday is over.

Day 13

I am grateful that I was able to go to church today, with Mike and the kids no one was sick this week. Xavier was also really good for Mike today at church.
I am grateful for Mike he cooked dinner tonight. It is nice when he cooks.
I am grateful for funny things our kids say. Abigail will look up into the sky sometimes and see letters in the clouds and tell us that it means it is letter day. Today she also told us the king lives in the number house. Brooklyn this morning told us I am going to church today, she then went to the closet to get a dress out.
I am grateful that my sharing time went well today.
I am grateful for the fall weather, it is nice to just open your windows and have the house nice and cool.

Day 12

I am grateful that I got to spend time with my little family today. We went to a park and a birthday party today.
I am grateful that I finally made it to the library today. It will be nice to have some books to read.
I am grateful that I got my sharing time ready for tomorrow.
I am grateful I remembered to post today. I remembered as I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep.

Day 11

I am grateful Mike had all morning off, it was nice to have him around.
I am grateful my kids slept in this morning and went to bed on time.

Day 10

I am grateful that it was nice today, we went to the park with friends and then we played outside with friends later on. My kids are a lot happier when they have some outdoor time.
I am grateful that Mike has a internship interview on Monday.
I am grateful I caught Xavier before he decided to crawl head first down the stairs. Time to train him how to go down them correctly.
I am grateful the dinner I made tonight turned out. At least Xavier and I liked it.
I am grateful for payday. I wish it came more often.

Day 9

I am grateful for the beautiful weather that we are still having. I was able to take the kids outside without jackets on.
I am grateful for friends that I have the chance to hang out with them.
I am grateful Abigail can go to preschool, she loves going and learning.
I am grateful for the kids nap time, makes it so I have time to do things.

Day 8

I am grateful for my girls. I had to clean my house for a meeting today and they both helped me clean.
I am grateful for Mike he brought me some ice cream home tonight.
I am grateful for sleep. We are sleep training Xavier and I only heard him wake up once and he cried himself back to sleep.

Day 7
 I am grateful for the kids bedtime, it is the only time our house is somewhat quiet.
I am grateful for friends, one came and hung out for a bit today and then I had dinner at  another. One of their daughters told me I was silly because I have cobweb up in my house. It made me laugh.
I am grateful for my girls they sure make me laugh sometimes. Like today Brooklyn attacked Abigail with some lip stick that she found. Abigail told me that she thought it was funny.
They also helped me clean the house today.

Xavier 9 months

Xavier turned 9 months old last week. These past 9 months sure have passed quickly. I took him to the doctor on Friday he now weighs 20 pounds is 29 inches tall. I don't know how big his head was, but I remember it was in the 95% I guess my kids have big heads. He is crawling' everywhere. He pushes up on everything. Yesterday he was standing and started pushing a box around the living room. So we decided to give him his Christmas present early which is a toy he can walk behind. So far the girls have been fighting over it. He tries to get close to'it, but they think they need it. Xavier eats like a champ, he loves everything that we feed him. He has four teeth coming in so'he has been a little cranky, but it will all soon be over.

Day 6
Today I am grateful that I was able to go to church.
I am grateful for Mike he made cookies and cooked dinner. He also stayed home from church with our sick kids.
Iam grateful we had our family home evening tonight.

Day 5

Today I am grateful that I was able to get out of the house to go to a friends baby shower.
I am grateful I could go grocery shopping without any kids.
I am grateful for the great weather that we are still having. I was able to play outside with my kids today. We also went on a family walk tonight.
I am grateful that Xavier is learning all the time. He was pushing a box around the living room today while walking.
I am grateful for games. Played hide and seek, tag and the dancing game with my girls today.

Day 4

I am grateful for doctors. To trust the ones we have chose.
I am grateful for warm weather, so I can take my kids out of the home for awhile.

Day 3

I am grateful for Xavier, he has learned how to clap and even though he is teething he is very happy.
I am grateful for chocolate cookies.
I am grateful for the food that we have and that I know how to cook.
I am grateful Brooklyn and Xavier like my cooking and will eat.

Day 2

Today I am grateful for Mike, he got up early with Brooklyn this morning. He made the kids breakfast. He came home from work early so I could go do a service project and then to enrichment. He got the kids fed and had them clean and put them to bed.

I am grateful for Xavier he has been a very happy boy today and was clapping a lot  and is 9 months old today.

Year of Gratitude

I have decided that I want to have a year of gratitude, where every day I post things that I am grateful for.

Day 1

 I am grateful for my friend Janine, we started doing dinners together. Our husbands both work at night and miss dinners so we take turns to cook. So she is cooking dinner tonight. I am grateful I don't have to.

I am grateful for pumpkin pie. Mike and I made some the other night and it is just so good.

I am grateful for Xavier because he took a long morning nap, so I had time to shower and clean my house.

I am grateful for my girls, because they cleaned without me asking them to.

I am grateful for my husband that he is willing to go to work to provide for our family.

Date with Mike

So Saturday Mike and I went on a date. First we went to the temple. We have decided that we should go monthly. I just love the feeling that you have when you go to the temple. Everyone is so happy. After that we went out to eat at Blue Lemon. It is good place to eat. It is in Highland and Mike heard about it from our bishop. We both got sandwiches and they were both good. We got some things from their bakery to bring home. I got a red velvet cupcake. It was so yummy and moist.
That is all that we did, but it was good to get out. I was happy that my parents were able to baby sit for us.

Hide and seek

We have family home evening on Sunday nights since Mike works Monday nights. Tonight we had a lesson and the the girls wanted to play games. First we played a game where we hide an object in the room and everyone finds it. My girls will hide it and as you are going in to find it will tell you where they hid it. Brooklyn picks a place to hide it and every time it is her turn to hide it that is where it goes.
After that game we played hide and seek. We opened all the doors in our house so they could hide in every room. The girls wouldn't really hide they just stood in a room and waited until you came to find them and would scream with delight when they saw you. Mike hid really good from Abigail once. She went into the room three or four times and never saw him.
We ended the night having pumpkin pie. Which both of the girls ate very well. And Xavier showed us that he could pull himself up on the couch. But I was in the other room so Mike only saw it. Someday I will see him do it.
