The Sunday before Thanksgiving we got a call from someone in the bishopric. They wanted to come talk to us. That is when we knew one of us was going to get a calling. I was called in the primary presidency to work with the scouts. So they had to do a background check on me. Just to make sure I could work with kids. I passed(I know you were thinking close call)
They finally sustained me on Sunday. I am going to be busier but that is ok. One week I will have round table and the next week is the pack night. I also get to do sharing times and do things with the primary presidency. It will be fun.
Mike gets to take Brooklyn with him. So he will have his hands full. Lately Abigail has been clingy, and not wanting to go to nursery so we will see how it goes. In two weeks she gets to go to the older class where there will not be as many kids. She likes one leader a lot she is actually the music leader. But she sits with Abigail.

Very Long Night
Last night, I wanted to go to bed at 10. But Brooklyn didn't want to. About a hour and a half later she finally went to bed. So I went to bed. Thinking I just fed her she should sleep all night. Yeah right. About 1 in the morning our house was really hot so of course she woke up. I fed her got her back to sleep and turned down the heat.
But that wasn't the end of the night. About an hour later I hear the girls bedroom door open, which means Abigail is up. She goes to her dad and asks for food. He gave her a piece of bread and put her back into bed. Not much later Brooklyn wakes up again. So I feed her and she falls asleep. So I put her in bed.
I go and get a drink and go to the bathroom. I then hear the baby again. So I go in the room and there is Abigail outside the crib talking to Brooklyn. So I take them back in the livingroom. They thought it was play time. Brooklyn stayed up for an hour and a half and I finally got her back to sleep. I tried to put Abigail in bed but she wasn't having any of it.
I think Abigail finally went to sleep around 5:30 or 6:00. I was awake until she slept. At 7 mike's alarm went off which woke me again. I was able to sleep another hour to hour and a half after that, but not a restful sleep. It is going to be a long day.

Cleaning the bathroom
This afternoon I decided to give Abigail a bath. As I was sitting in there I noticed that it needed to be cleaned. So I started to clean. I got everything done but floor and tub by the time I got Abigail out. I get her out and get her dressed and this is where the fun began.
Abigail decided that I needed help cleaning. She got a rag stuck it in the water and brought it right back out. So there was water every where. We were cleaning the tub and all of a sudden she was done. I look over and she was eating the rag. Yes the soaking wet rag with cleaner on it. I kicked her out of the bathroom, gave her water and a popsicle. I hope that there won't be any effects.

how would they know
Last week I decided to take Abigail outside to ride her little 3 wheeler. When we got outside I noticed that my neighbor was talking to some salesmen. I couldn't just tell Abigail never mind lets go back in. Because I would have a crying child to deal with.
After they were done talking to my neighbor they came up to me. They were trying to get people to come to some meeting about buying a house. They told me that I would be able to qualify. The question going through my head was: How would they know our situation on if we could afford it. I let him give his little spill and then told him maybe about going to the meeting. I told him I was pretty sure we could not afford to get into a house. He asked me if I wanted to stop living in apartments and move into a house. What I want and what I can do are two different things.
Mike and I know we are not even close to being able to afford going into a house. Hopefully some day down the road but as it stands we just can't.

FHE and rolling over
Sunday we went to my parents house for dinner. We said we had to leave so we could have our FHE. My niece who was across the room yelled. "You can't have FHE today, it's Sunday not Monday" I told her we had ours on Sunday because Mike worked Monday nights. So we have to have it on Sunday.
It got me thinking I know most people do FHE on Monday, but I have heard that it is fine to do it on Sunday if you can't do it on Monday. Someday when Mike doesn't work on Monday nights I hope to do it then.
That night for FHE we carved our pumpkin. Which I will put pictures up later. Abigail loved the idea she was running around having fun.
Brooklyn has started rolling over to her tummy. Problem is that she hates being on her tummy so she will roll over and start screaming because she is on the tummy. She will get so upset that she can't roll back over. I think it is really funny.

sick baby and sick mommy
Last Wednesday Brooklyn started having diarrhea. It went on and on until Monday morning. She then had a few non poopy diapers, but then it came back. I called the Dr. they told me to watch what I eat and if she seems to be losing weight to bring her in. I am thinking it is dairy products. Because she was fine yesterday until I had a bowl of cereal. She hasn't had it yet today. So I am going to go a few more feedings and diapers if no poop, I will drink milk and see what happens.
I guess if it makes her sick I will not drink any milk or eat any dairy products until I am done nursing. Which will be hard on me, but it will be for my child.
Now my sickness. Sunday I got a nasty headache. Which is not really abnormal. But then my breast started hurting really bad. I woke up the next morning and it was still hurting bad and I felt like I had a nasty cold. It hurts to the point that I can't even use my arm. I am going to try to go to the Dr. I looked up the symptoms to mastitis and I have most of them. I took pain killer last night and could sleep. But as soon as I got up it started hurting again. Especially when I have to carry the baby. Mike is taking the morning off to help me.

Another fun weekend at the in-laws
We went down to Delta this past weekend. Mike's sister was visiting from Idaho, so we wanted to go see her. We had to wait until Friday morning to go since Mike had school. The drive down there sometimes seems to take forever.
We just hung around a lot. Abigail played with everyone and had fun. She fell down the stairs again. This time because she was trying to carry the big green ball up the stairs. Brooklyn was good for the most part. She wasn't napping and Friday night, she showed everyone that she really does know how to cry. Mike finally took her on a ride and she fell asleep.
Saturday we made dinner we had ribs and potatoes. They were the best ribs I have ever eaten. Mike and his brother made them. It was just nice and relaxing to hang outside and talk to everyone.
We came home on Sunday after church and after we played rook with Mike's parents. Brooklyn didn't sleep the first two days very well but on Sunday took a nice long nap.

Attempting potty training
We have decided to potty train Abigail. I am just wondering how to go about it. We have the pull ups and I take her to the potty. But she just sits there and doesn't do anything. I am making sure she is drinking more, but still no going. I am just going to work on it and hope for the best.
If anyone has any tips please help. I will like it when I don't have to buy diapers for Abigail.

Going Private
I have decided to make my blog private. Not that I mind all people looking at it, but I don't know of some of the people. I have a thing that says where a person is from that visits my blog and I have started getting locations that say united states only and it kind of scares me. If you would like to look at my blog please leave your e-mail address. I am going to make the change in a week thank you
Why I hate facebook
Yesterday I got on face book. I saw what I thought was a video my husband had sent. So I thought if he sent something it would be good. I tried to look at it and it wouldn't let me so I closed it down. It turned out that it was a virus. It then proceeded to send this video link to all my friends.
I tried to stop it, but I couldn't. As soon as Mike got home he stopped it, by getting the virus off our computer which made it so it couldn't send it anymore. I have people now telling me I sent them I virus. I posted something as soon as I knew what it was doing for people not to open it. But yet some people didn't see that.
Mike said that there are viruses all over face book and that you have to be careful. I even somehow got one doing a quiz. I guess the scum people who send the viruses use it because it is a very good place for it.
I feel really bad for sending it. Even though I didn't do it on purpose.

Nightmares?
About every other night Abigail wakes up crying, or when we get up she is on the couch. We don't know why, but when we try to put her back in bed she cries. Last night she woke up crying about 3 in the morning. I went and got her, she was on the way out of her room anyway. I took her to the couch and cuddled her for a half hour. She fell asleep and I just left her there.
Someone told me this is about the age of night terrors. I just wish there was a way to get rid of them. We finally got the baby to sleep through the night, so it would be nice if she did.

Labor day
We had a fun labor day this year. We went down to Payson for onion days. The onion reason we really went was for the polish sausages with sautated onions on them. We went with Mike's brother and his wife and their cute baby boy.
My sister in law had to feed her baby right when we got there, so Mike and I walked around for a little bit. We decided to meet up with Mike at the carousel. As we were sitting there Abigail watched it and then said up. So I got her out of the stroller and she said she wanted to go on the ride. We had a little extra cash. So I went and bought tickets. She loved it. She didn't want to get off.
We then went and ate lunch. Mike bought Abigail a hamburger and she only ate the bun and the chips he bought. She then wanted to go on more rides so I took her. She went on a total of 4 rides. Mike stayed with his brother and had Brooklyn with him.
After the onion days. We went to Mike's brother's house and just sat around. We do that a lot we sit around and try to think of something to do. Mike and I finally left and we went to run errands. We went game stop so Mike could pay some pre-ordered games off. Then we went to Kohl's to look for a skirt for me. All of my old ones were not fitting right. We found me a skirt, a new shirt and shoes. I have a whole new Sunday outfit. I am so excited.
It was a good Labor day!

FHE
We have finally started doing FHE with Abigail. We have a short lesson then an activity. We have it on Sunday nights because Mike is gone in the evenings. Last night I gave a lesson on keeping the commandments. We told her a way of keeping commandments is to obey and to obey her parents. Because we know what is good for her.
There was then an activity where she got to go on a treasure hunt. I was kind of nervous that she wouldn't get it. But she did and did a great job. Whenever she found a clue she would go OHHHHHH!!!!! and jump up and down. At the end the treasure was some M&M's which she was so excited about.
I love how much they learn and know at this age.

Working out
I have decided that I want to lose weight. So I have been exercising. Mike bought me the wii fit. I have heard good things and bad things about it. When you first get on it, you get weighed and it tells you what you BMI is. Then you do a balance test. If you are not good at these balance tests your wii fit age gets older if you are good it is younger. My first day I was a 44 and today I was a 31. They have various exercises you can do. It is a lot of fun. I think the best part is Abigail will work out with me. She gets a controller then mimics what I do.
The other exercise I do is walking. There is a girl in my ward that I go walking with. Her husband works and goes to school too. So we both are usually home alone at night. It is just fun to have a friend close by. We decided in the winter that we would still work out but with the wii fit. The girls love going for walks. Abigail will ask me every night if we are going on a walk.
Even if I just lose 10 pounds I will be happy.

3 years ago today......
I married my best friend. Time has gone fast, but yet I feel like I have been married forever. We have both changed, gained weight, and learned more patients with each other and our children. I hope things keep going as great as they have been.
We are not doing anything today for our anniversary, Mike is at work and I am at home. But Friday Mike's parents are coming up to watch our girls. We are going to go to them temple. Come home to change, and me to feed Brooklyn and then we will go to lunch and a movie.
I love you Mike.

Brooklyn's blessing day
I woke up about 3 in the morning on the day we were going to bless Brooklyn, with a massive stomach ache and a head ache. I then proceeded to go to the bathroom about 3 or 4 times in an hour. I was like great my daughter is being blessed today and I am sicker than a dog. During this time Brooklyn also decided it was time to eat. So I had to feed her and try to take care of myself.
I took some pepto the only kind we have in our house which is for children. I hoped it would work. It did, it made my stomach stop hurting so about 5 I finally fell asleep on the couch with Brooklyn right next to me. She woke up an hour later wanting to eat again. So I fed her while laying on the couch trying not to get sick again. Bu time I got back to sleep it was almost 7 when we wanted to get up.
Mike got up and came and woke me. He said he would get food ready if I would get the girls ready I got up. Went and got dressed and got the girls dresses. This took me awhile because my head was pounding. I then feed Brooklyn again. I dressed Abigail first and of course she wanted to leave right away. She loves church so she was excited we were going. I then put Brooklyn in her dress she looked so cute. (Pictures to come on a later date).
By time I got the dressed it was almost time to go. Mike's parents showed up and so did my parents they were going to follow us to our church since it is kind of far from our house. Even though there is a church a block away from our house.
The blessing was beautiful. Mike did a good job. After church we had brunch at our apartment. I was still not feeling well so all I wanted was ice water. It was good to spend time with the family that could make it.
I spent the rest of the day laying on the couch trying to get comfortable. My whole body was achy. Thankfully Mike was there to take care of the girls. I am feeling much better today. I told Mike it could of been worse I could of been puking all over.

Headaches
I tend to get headaches a lot. It first started when I was in college. My first one made me faint and everything. I get them about once every couple of months. Problem is the only was to get rid of them is for me to sleep. Having a new baby and sleeping don't always go hand in hand especially when you have a toddler running around.
Yesterday I got one of these headaches. It started yesterday. I dealt with it and tried to take care of a screaming baby and a toddler who only wanted to go outside. I thought it would be gone this morning. But Brooklyn had other plans. She woke up at 3 and then didn't sleep well after that. I saw every hour of the morning. About 6 Mike came and took over to let me sleep. But I only slept for an hour. I hope that it will go away soon.

Long weekend
We had a very long weekend. It all started on Friday. Pioneer Day, Abigail, Brooklyn and I went with my family up the canyon. We went to cascade springs. It was fun to walk around. I had Brooklyn and a carrier and Abigail in a stroller. Thank goodness for my nieces they all wanted to push Abigail. After we were done there we went to Heber and went to a park for a little bit. Abigail had fun going down the slides.
We went to some cheap hamburger place for lunch. It was ok but not the best. My mom, Abigail and I then went to a quilting store. My dad stayed in the car with Brooklyn. After that they took me home. I just wanted to relax. But Brooklyn had other plans she had an upset tummy and every time I fed her she threw up. She did that from 3 until about midnight. I remembered I gave her a formula bottle earlier that day. Problem was it was a ready made bottle and was left in the hot car. We think that it spoiled.
When Mike got home Friday night we went on a walk. It was so nice outside.
The next morning we went and priced computers and other things. Then we went and walked around the mall. We ate at the food court and luckily came home. Because about an hour after we got home, Abigail got quiet. I thought she was asleep. Mike went and checked on her. He was like come here. I thought she must be sleeping in some cute position. I was so wrong. She was laying in a pile of vomit. Poor girl Mike picked her up and washed her off while I cleaned up the bed.
After we got everything cleaned up, I went to the store and kept Mike home with the girls. I got crackers and liquids for Abigail. I came home to Brooklyn crying and Abigail being cuddled in Mike's arms. She threw up again while I was gone. We decided she could just be in her diaper. She proceeded to throw up about 8 more times within the next few hours.
Mike and I decided that I would take care of Brooklyn and him Abigail, so Brooklyn wouldn't get sick. I decided I got the better deal. Mike and Abigail both slept in the living room that night. Abigail only got sick a couple of more times that night.
I went to church on Sunday and Mike stayed home with Abigail. I had to go so I could get the paperwork in order to bless Brooklyn next week. I was able to get her in the church records. I came home and napped. I didn't sleep well the night before. I was worried about my sick daughter. Abigail was doing better, but really tired. She was at least keeping food down.
Mike's brother and his wife came over that night. While they were looking at Mike's new game I took Abigail outside and we had a Popsicle. When she came back in Mike changed her diaper and Abigail put herself down for a nap and napped for 3 hours. She then got up had a drink and a few crackers then went to bed for the night.
This morning she got up at six. She didn't come into our room so I knew she was getting into things. I was getting up anyway, because I am starting to go walking in the morning. I came in the living room and she was sitting on the couch with the package of crackers between her legs. Eating the crackers. She was back to her normal self.

She was back to her normal self.

need a soother
Abigail always loved the pacifier and would calm down when we gave it to her. Brooklyn on the other hand doesn't like the pacifier. If we try to give it to her she gags on it. Instead she like to be cuddled and bounced and moved around a lot. Sometimes she will go in her swing. But sometimes she just screams.
This past weekend she didn't nap much instead she cried. We would get her to sleep and she would wake up as soon as we laid her down. Yesterday was the worst our house was hot and she kept crying. Finally about 10:30 I went and took her in our room and got her to fall asleep. She then slept until 3:30 in the morning.
I just wish I knew how to soothe her and make her happy.

ewwww
Last night I was laying in bed feeding Brooklyn. I have found it is the easiest way to put her in bed a night. Anyway she kept eating and eating and eating. She then pulled away and threw up all over our bed. I wasn't surprised because she throws up at least once a day. I don't know why she just does.
It is something new to me because I think when Abigail was an infant she spit up once and she was like 8 months old. I told my Dr about it and he said sometimes it just happens.
On a happy note she slept for 4 hours straight last night. I can't wait for her to sleep through the night. We will put her in Abigail's room then.

stupid phone calls
The only phone Mike and I have is one cell phone. For about the past year we have been getting calls wanting us to cosolidate our credit card loans or refinance the morgage for our house or a warrenty for our car.
Now if we had credit card payments maybe we would but I doubt it. Mike and I both don't have any credit card debt. We are trying to make it without a credit card. We haven't had one our whole marrigae. We might get one for emergency's but we will see.
We don't own a house so what would we refinace? I tease Mike and tell him it is for our invisable house, to go with our invisable credit cards.
We just bought a car and have a warrenty through kia by buying the car. So the warrenty on our car is not gone we just bought the car a year ago.
Most of these people when call have a computer talking to you and they say at the end to get off the list push a number, which we do everytime. But we still get the calls. Is anyone else getting these annoying calls?

Sunday
Yesterday was a good Sunday. I finally went back to church after about a month and a half of not going. We have church at 9 and we were all ready to go at 8:30. First was sacrament, Abigail has a hard time with it. She just wants to play and we are trying to teach her that you don't play. She made it probably half way through before screaming. Mike took her out to the hall. Brooklyn was laying in her car seat most of the time, but she started acting up a little so I took her out of car seat. She then decided to go to bathroom and her diaper leaked. So I had to go change her. I then fed her then we spent the rest of the time in the foyer.
After Sacrament meeting I took Abigail to nursery. She actually ran down the hall to the nursery room. As soon as I opened the door she ran in and started to play. When the leaders got there I went to Sunday school. The first time in over a year. It was then Mike and I noticed we forgot our scriptures both of us. Oops. It was an ok lesson, but the teacher was kind of boring.
R.S was good, I wish I would of been able to hear the whole lesson. But Brooklyn got hungry again. So I went and fed her. I came back and heard the end of the lesson. I felt so welcome in R.S. I love the fact I can go again.
After church we came home, Mike went to choir practice while I gave Abigail a snack and changed the girls. When Mike got home we went to my parents house for lunch and for Mike to help my parents with their computers. It was fun to get out of the house for a little bit. My parents gave us a swing for Brooklyn. We put her in it this morning and she loved it. She fell asleep in it and got mad when we turned it off. Abigail always hated the swing.
It was just a nice day I can't wait for next weekend. i like the weekends because Mike is home and can help out.

Abigail's birthday and random pictures
Yesterday was Abigail's second birthday. We just relaxed most of the day. Abigail woke us up about 6 in the morning. She came in our room, came on my side of the bed and said up. So I put her on our bed. She climbed right on Mike and yelled Daddy in his ear. I guess she didn't want him to sleep. Abigail and I got up and made her birthday cake. After everyone was fed and bathed Abigail and I went outside to play. I try to take her out by herself once a day. We gave Abigail a three wheeler for her birthday and we played with that.
In the afternoon Abigail had her 2 year old well child visit. She is 22 pounds and I can't remember the height. She was good for the nurse, but when the Dr was looking at her she screamed the whole time. After he left she calmed down again. It was then time for her shot. I thought that she would cry. But no she didn't make a peep when they gave her a shot. Both the nurse and I were surprised.
We just hung out at home that night and didn't do much. We had a cake for Abigail. She was excited about it. But when we lit the candles and she saw it she started to scream. She knows fire means hot and didn't understand to blow the candles out.
It was a good day over all.
I still can't believe my little girl is two. She has grown up so much. Her favorite word right now is no. and it is a loud No. Her favorite food is chicken nuggets. Her favorite snack is fruit snacks. She talks all the time and is learning names of people. She likes to play with the kids outside, and also loves nursery. She love coloring, and dipping whatever she can in her cup of water. She knows her bedtime routine and won't let us miss a thing. She loves to give hugs and kisses.
her are some random pictures of Abigail's birthday and a few of Brooklyn.
