Day 262

I am grateful Mike and I got all of our laundry washed and put away today. Exceptfor our bedding and Xavier's bedding.
I am grateful Mike cleaned the bathroom today. It is probably the 4th time he has ever doneit since we got married.
I am grateful that my neighbor made us dinner tonight. She was supoosed to take food to someone, but they were not home yet, so she offered us dinner. So we didn't have to cook.

Day 260

I am grateful we could go to the splash park today, my kids really liked it.
I am grateful that my neighbor came to get my girls, so they could go play at her house.
I am grateful that my bread I made today turned out.

Day 259

I am grateful we could go to the park today.
I am grateful that it was nice outside today.
I am grateful that we have tomatoes growing in our garden.

Day 258

I am grateful we were able to go to readin time at the library today.
I am grateful that we had dinner with a neighbor since Mike was gone.
I am grateful that the kids went to bed well tonight and even cleaned up before.

I am grateful that it was a good day.
I am grateful that my kids could play with friends today.
I am grateful Mike gave the kids a bath tonight.

I am grateful I got a good walk in today.
I am grateful Xavier took a good nap today.
I am grateful that my kids make me laugh.

Random things my kids say.

So I was sitting at computer today and Abigail told Brooklyn I am going to write your name. We then had this conversation.

A: Mom, what letter does Brooklyn start with?
M: It starts with B.
A:  Really, it still starts with B. Like when she was a baby?
M: yes, it will always start with B.
A: even when she is older.
M: yes Brooklyn is always start with B
A: Oh

The other day I asked Brooklyn what her favorite color was. She told me it was pink which it is. I then asked what is my favorite color and she said Orange. Sure that will do. I then asked what is dad's favorite color and she said Brown. I asked why is that dad's favorite color and she said because my eyes are brown.

Abigail came up to me today and said Mom I love MikeNIkes want to know why. I said sure why do you love them. She said because they have red candies in them and I love red candies.

Xavier learned a few words this week. He learned Otter pop which when he says it goes to the fridge and hold his arms up to the freezer. He will say cookies and go to where the cookies are. He will say cake and try to find one. I know where is priorities are.

Day 255

I am grateful that the kids were good,even though they were sick.
I am grateful that Mike cooked dinner.
I am grateful the kids went to bed good tonight there was no crying.

Day 254

I am grateful we got the house clean today, even if the kids made it dirty again.
I am grateful we could go to the splash park with friends again.
I am grateful we could have a bbq with some friends tonight, it was a lot of fun.

Day 253

I am grateful I could take kids to spash park today.
I am grateful our landlord got rid of the dirt area.
I am grateful today went fast.

Day 252

I am grateful I got a good workout in again today, even though we had cranky kids.
I am grateful I could go to the park today.
I am grateful that I could go to a baby shower tonight, while Mike watched the kids.

Day 251

I am grateful for little promptings I get somedays, especially the ones that keep me safe. This morning I drove Mike to work, on the way home I felt like I shouldn't drive to fast, so I drove about 30 mph in an area most go 35 to 40 mph, I was about to an intersection when a truck ran the stop sign going very fast. I don't know what would of happened if I would of drove faster this morning, but grateful that I don't know.
I am grateful for the friendships I have with my neighbors, it is nice having people who will help you when you need it.
I am grateful the kids went bed well tonight, we had no crying.

Day 250

I am grateful that I got a good work out in today.
I am grateful Mike went to the store today and mad me cookies.
I am grateful that the day is over. Xavier has been a bit cranky today.

Day 249

I am grateful I woke up in time to go walking this morning with ladies in my ward.
I am grateful that Brooklyn had her 3 year old appointment and she didn't cry at all, even when she got a shot. He said she has a bit of delayed speech, but not to worry about it just work for her.
I am grateful that my brother could come today with his kids to have dinner and do family home evening.

Day 248

I am grateful we could go to church today, and Mike got sustained to his new calling. He is the ward choir director now. I think he will be good. I still have no calling, I think it will be a couple of months before I get one.
I am grateful we could go tomy parents today. My oldest brother is moving to Texas so it was a father's day, birthday, and farewell lunch. It was fun to hang out with my brothers and their families, but we missed my little sister.
I am grateful that the kids were good when we got home and went to bed well tonight.

Day 247

I am grateful we could celebrate Brooklyn's birthday today. we went to the splash park because that is what she wanted. We also had hot dogs and corn on the cob for dinner.
I am grateful it was a laid back day and kids were good.
I am grateful we get to go to church tomorrow.

Funny story of the day. Today I went to give the kids a bath, I put Xavier in and he stood up and peed every where, surprised Abigail.

Day 246

I am grateful that my girls cleaned when I asked them to. Tell them that doing anything for their dad is the way to go.
I am grateful my neighbor could watch my kids so Mike and I could go on a date for his birthday.
I am grateful we finally got Xavier new sandals. His last ones were way to small for his feet.

I am grateful we could go to the park today.
I am grateful Xavier took a good nap he is getting 3 molars right now so extra cranky.
I am grateful that I could take girls to splash park tonight.

I am grateful we left the stoller in the car last night. I needed it today when I went out.

I am grateful we could go to the zoo today, I still have a fever but doing better. Mike is getting whatever I had now.
I am grateful that the kids love their uncle Matt. He has been staying with us for a couple of days and they just love playing with him.
I am grateful my dinner turned out tonight. Tried a new dish and so far no one has died.

I am grateful that Mike had the day off I was still not feeling well.
I am grateful I am slowly starting to feel better.

I am grateful Mike took the kids with him when he went to the airport to pick up his brother.

I am grateful that I made it through my sharing time, we were released from the presidency today, so it was an emotional day.
I am grateful for the time I was able to serve on the primary presidency and for the relationships I had with the other sisters.
I am grateful my brother could come for dinner today for his birthday. The food was really good.
