Abigail has a toy that has a picture of a duck on it. When you push the duck it quakes. The other day, I was studying and Abigail brought it out to me. She was going ba ba ba ba ba ba. She then threw the toy at me. So I made it quake and she got really happy and again said ba ba ba ba ba ba. I tell her it is quack quack quack. But she still says it wrong.
I can't believe how much she is talking now. Her newest thing is when she is looking for bunny. She will say "where is he?" and shrugs her shoulders. When she finds him she gets really excited.
Abigail loves when people sing. She knows the actions to itsy bitsy spider. She loves the ABC song. She also, I found out today, likes do as I'm doing. She was rolling her hands and I had to try to guess what song she wanted. When I finally started to sing that song she got really excited and happy.

My feet, if you don't like feet don't look.
Warning if you don't like feet don't look.
I took these last night. I had been up on them most of the day, because I have a little girl that loves outside. The foot to the left is the one that got sprained. It is a lot bigger. I can barely get flip flops on this foot. It is still really big this morning too. The right foot is a little swollen too, but it is caused by me being pregnant

better
I am doing better today. My ankle is nice and bruised, but at least I can walk on it. It is also swollen, but I guess that is life.
We had a good day today, we went to church even though we were a half hour late. Abigail cried when I dropped her off in nursery, she then had one of the leaders hold her the whole time. After church our home teachers came over. Abigail had a fun time playing with them.
After that we went over to Mike's brothers house to watch the jazz game. We had a late lunch/early dinner. We then played rock band forever. It was fun. We went to the park also, Abigail had fun running around with her dad and her uncle.
We watched a movie which I wish I could forget after that.
Abigail finally fell asleep after 9:30 she came up to cuddle with me, and fell asleep. When we got home she went right to bed.
Tomorrow I have a ton of math to do I would do some tonight but I am very very tired.

stupid me!!!!
So earlier today, Mike and I were going to go play Rock Band 2. Currently my favorite game. I was sitting on the couch, my feet were numb. They are always numb lately, because always swollen. Anyway I went to stand up and my foot was asleep. I was walking and it hurt to walk and then I somehow twisted my foot ankle. I fell on the ground in pain.
Mike came and helped me up to the couch and we put ice on it. I just sat there until Abigail needed something. When I got up to help her, I noticed that I couldn't put any pressure at all on my foot. I can walk on it but it hurt. I had to crawl back to the couch. I couple of hours later, I couldn't even get up because it hurt so bad.
Mike and I have nothing for hurt ankles so we are borrowing crutches and Mike went to buy a bandage. We have to teach primary tomorrow, so I hope it feels a little bit better.
I feel so stupid because I should have known my foot was asleep. But I didn't.

craving
The other day, Mike and I went to Chili's with some friends. They have a new appetizer there it is onion rings and fried jalapenos. I wanted to try it, so we did. Ever since then I have been wanting it again and again, even though it is extremely spicy.
Last night bought me the stuff to make it, problem I don't have the recipe for the batter. I tried to look some up, but most of the recipes ask for beer. And I don't have any. 1 because I don't drink it and 2 because I am pregnant. Even though it would be cooked I don't want to test it.
I have decided that I am just going to make something up and hope for the best. If it is good I will write it down.

ceiling problems again!
A couple of weeks ago when it was raining a lot our ceiling leaked but only a little bit. It didn't happen again until tonight, after it had been raining all day. I went into our bedroom, and I saw water coming down.
Luckily it is in a different place then the last time, it is just over by about a foot. The last time it leaked they didn't go up to see where the leak was coming from. They just fixed the ceiling from falling down. Mike and I didn't think that is how you fix a leaking ceiling.
Anyway, about a month ago our apartment was sold to a new guy. He is a nice guy, so we have to bother this new landlord about the problem. I just hope that he will be able to fix it better.

Easter Dress
We bought Abigail an Easter Dress this year. I loved it the moment I saw it. There were also 3 other girls in the ward that had the same dress, so I guess I wasn't the only one who liked it.( please excuse the mess in our living room. I am becoming a lazy pregnant person)
Sleeping Abigail
Abigail has been falling asleep in really random places lately. If I think about it I take a picture

I don't understand......
I have a neighbor that has 4 girls ages 5, 3 or 4, 2 and 1. Anyway she sends her kids outside to play. She keeps her blinds closed and never checks on them. We don't have a fenced neighborhood. The street we live on can get busy. As a parent I have a hard time seeing how she can do that. They go running down the street, they run in the road, with no concern that there are things called cars. If you have plants they pick the flowers. Last year someone had tomato plants and they picked all the tomatoes, because they were playing and thought they were apples.
Also last year I guess one of the girls went next door, they had a ladder going to the roof. The kid who was 2 at the time climbed up the ladder. The mom finally came out and was like where is my kid. It took everyone forever to find her and then she wouldn't come down from the roof. But the mom didn't seem to care. It was the other parents that live around her that was concerned.
I would understand letting your kids play outside by themselves if blinds were open. If they have set rules where they can play. I wish we had a fenced yard then I would have an easier time.
Anytime I take Abigail out. These girls come over, and I feel like I have to watch them. I only want to watch my own kid unless she asks.
Am I wrong for feeling this way?

It has started
Abigail loves to color! I have noticed that she has colored on the windows and I tell her no. So she has gone a little bit lower to the wall. Yesterday I heard her squeal, then squeal again. I thought OK she is happy about something. I look over and she has a crayon and she is making marks on the wall with each squeal. I tell her no no and she repeats me and walks away.
Later that day, she had some chocolate milk that she purposely spilt all over the wall same area, so that got taken away. Today while cleaning I decided to wash it all off. So I got a wet rag and the chocolate milk came right off. But the crayon stayed on. Then I remembered that back in December, my brother gave Mike and I a magic eraser. So I decided to try that, and it came right off.
I remember coloring on the wall when I was little and I would have to wash it off with a rag and water I am so happy they have stronger things now days. I don't think this will be the last time Abigail writes on the wall.

I always said that I would never to the whole facebook myspace thing. Until last semester when I had to for one of my classes. So I was just going to be on it until the end of the semester. But then by the end of the semester I had over 100 friends. I thought well this is a good way to keep in touch so I am still on it.
I think it is fun to take the silly quizzes they have and don't believe what any of them tell me. For example one said I was going to have two kids a boy and a girl. Well I already have a girl and another girl on the way. Unless the ultrasound was wrong, but they had a shot that you could tell she is a girl for sure.

28 week appointment
Today was my 28 week check up. Only 12 weeks to go. Everything looks good. I am measuring about a week small, but Dr said that is fine. He said it just means it won't be a 10 pound baby, which I am fine with. Blood pressure is good and baby has a strong heartbeat.
I also had my glucose test this morning. The drink made me feel sick this time. I thought I was going to throw up. It also gave me a bad headache, and stomach ache. If there is anything wrong they will call me tomorrow. I am hoping that I don't get a call.
My next appointment is in 3 weeks. I am so happy that it is almost to the end. I am ready to meet this little girl who likes to kick my ribs and bladder.
I am feeling good for the most part. My ankles swell up every night which is to be expected. Abigail has discovered my belly and now thinks it's her own personal chair, which I tell her no. When ever she touches my tummy with her arm the baby kicks and it kind of scares her. I try to tell her there is a baby in there and she just lifts up my shirt and points to my belly button and says baby. She will get it someday.

Its been a year....
since we have moved to our current apartment. We still love it here. I don't see us moving anytime soon. This is by far the best place that we have lived in since we got married. It's so weird to think about how much Abigail has grown and learned while we have been living here. I am still happy that we decided to move here.

Dog poop
So our apartment complex has a no pet policy. My neighbor has grandchildren that has dogs. Today one of her grandchildren came to visit, and she took her dog out to go poop. But she didn't clean it up. I wouldn't mind except for kids like to play in our yard and I let Abigail play in our yard. I don't want Abigail picking up the poop and eating it or even stepping on it.
The bad thing about today, I took Abigail on a walk. When I was cutting across the grass to get to our apartment we somehow ran over some. Luckily it just got on the stroller.
I just feel that if you are going to have a dog you should clean up after it. Especially if you are visiting someone, who live where there are no pets. I will even donate her a bag if she doesn't have one. I told Mike that next time I see her out there, I am going to grab a bag and take it to her and ask her to please clean up after her pet.

good example
This past weekend was conference. We went down to Mike's parents to watch it. When it was time for the Saturday session. Abigail, Mike and I were in the kitchen where the TV was. I was sitting there no trying to be sick. Mike was talking to his brother and Abigail was sitting at my feet watching conference. The prayer started and I looked down and Abigail had her arms folded. She then looked at me, like I thought this is what we did during prayers.
I think it is so great that she know when someone is praying and knows what to do. She also sings whenever it is time for a hymn. They learn so early how to do these simple things.

terrible twos
So Abigail is already in her terrible twos. She isn't bad kid just has her moments.
For example the other day, she wanted me to get her some milk. She brought her cup to me and said milk. I told her one second and she grabbed her cup and threw it at me. She then started to scream. I got up and started heading to the kitchen and she kept screaming and yelling at me as I was doing this. Me not wanting to get mad at her. Decided to put her in time out. So I picked her up and put her on her bed.(time out spot until we find a new one) I then went back to kitchen and got her milk. I went to get her and she continued to scream at me, so I told her she had to stay in time out. I went back a little bit later she had calmed down and she was hugging me. I gave her the milk and then she was happy again. This all happened from when Mike left to work and by time he got there which is 10 to 15 minutes.
We have determined that Abigail can be very demanding sometimes. If she want something, it need to be right away. It doesn't matter if we are doing something else she wants it. We are trying to figure out what to do. She also likes to get into everything, so as of right now we keep three of the four doors (other than doors to outside ones) shut. We keep bathroom closed because she likes to put things in toilet, or drink the water. We keep our bedroom door shut, because she gets in our closet and pulls out our shoes and opens our dresser. We also keep our extra room closed because she pulls out my stamps, plays with the x box controllers and pulls everything off bookshelf.
She is usually very sweet and fun to be around. She is learning so much. We are teaching her how to clean. She helps with the dishes and the laundry. She also picks up her toys. She is talking a lot more, and can say people who she knows names. She is still a picky eater, but I keep trying to get her to eat more.
I think its just the age.
