My life is boring

Everyday I think I should post something in my blog. But I wanted it to be something interesting. Let me tell you my life is not interesting. I wake up in the morning. Feed Brooklyn, eat, work out, shower and then clean the house. I spend the rest of the day staying at home taking care of my two girls. Which somedays can be really stressful depending on their moods. I guess I will just give updates on the girls.

Abigail: has learned colors, her numbers for the most part she calls 9 6 but I guess that is close, she knows the alphabet and can tell me what letter everyones name starts with. She is talking a lot more and can actually hold a conversation with me. She helps with Brooklyn a lot. She feeds her things even after I tell her not to. Her favorite treat right now is marshmallows. Today she was trying to see how many she can stuff in her mouth. Her favorite song is either wheels on the bus or Jesus wants me for a sunbeam. She tells me every morning to exercise I guess she thinks I need it. She is such a joy to have around she is always learning. She love having friends come play at our house.

Brooklyn is now sitting up. She has the army crawl down and has attempted crawling but only has gone a few steps. She love solids. Her favorite is the oatmeal. She will open her mouth when ever she sees a spoon. Abigail was feeding her water from a spoon today. She is starting to become more of a daddy's girl. She cries when he puts her down. She will also go up to him and whine until he picks her up. She tried to fall down the stairs the other day. So I need to pay more attention to her. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.

My calling is going really well I have meetings most Sunday mornings and twice a month I have to go to scout things. Its fun to go, and I feel like this is the calling I am supposed to have. I never knew that scouts could be so much fun. Well that is all for tonight. I hope I will write again soon.

No Nursery

In the middle of November Abigail decided that nursery was not for her. We would take her and she would scream and cry the whole time. It got to the point they had to bring her to us. We thought it would go away. But it has gotten to the point that when they have the closing song in Sacrament meeting that she will start to cry.
This is weird to us, because before this all happened she would go with no problem she actually ran to it and wanted us to leave before the teachers were even there. I talked to her dr about it, he said we can try two things to either act like a bump on a log and just sit there, don't give her comfort or anything or to just not go for a month. So far she will go cry and we take her home. But I have a calling now and need to be there so Mike will have the baby. He doesn't want to deal with both kids when they are like that.

I just wish it would go away. All week we talk up nursery we tell her it is fun. Today Mike took her home and told her I was a good girl because I stayed at church. Next week is Stake conference and the next week I don't have to do anything in primary so we are going to try to take her again.

She just went up to the older nursery and they said that they are going to try to work with her too. I just hope we can train her to not act like this anymore.

New calling

The Sunday before Thanksgiving we got a call from someone in the bishopric. They wanted to come talk to us. That is when we knew one of us was going to get a calling. I was called in the primary presidency to work with the scouts. So they had to do a background check on me. Just to make sure I could work with kids. I passed(I know you were thinking close call)

They finally sustained me on Sunday. I am going to be busier but that is ok. One week I will have round table and the next week is the pack night. I also get to do sharing times and do things with the primary presidency. It will be fun.

Mike gets to take Brooklyn with him. So he will have his hands full. Lately Abigail has been clingy, and not wanting to go to nursery so we will see how it goes. In two weeks she gets to go to the older class where there will not be as many kids. She likes one leader a lot she is actually the music leader. But she sits with Abigail.

Very Long Night

Last night, I wanted to go to bed at 10. But Brooklyn didn't want to. About a hour and a half later she finally went to bed. So I went to bed. Thinking I just fed her she should sleep all night. Yeah right. About 1 in the morning our house was really hot so of course she woke up. I fed her got her back to sleep and turned down the heat.

But that wasn't the end of the night. About an hour later I hear the girls bedroom door open, which means Abigail is up. She goes to her dad and asks for food. He gave her a piece of bread and put her back into bed. Not much later Brooklyn wakes up again. So I feed her and she falls asleep. So I put her in bed.

I go and get a drink and go to the bathroom. I then hear the baby again. So I go in the room and there is Abigail outside the crib talking to Brooklyn. So I take them back in the livingroom. They thought it was play time. Brooklyn stayed up for an hour and a half and I finally got her back to sleep. I tried to put Abigail in bed but she wasn't having any of it.

I think Abigail finally went to sleep around 5:30 or 6:00. I was awake until she slept. At 7 mike's alarm went off which woke me again. I was able to sleep another hour to hour and a half after that, but not a restful sleep. It is going to be a long day.

Cleaning the bathroom

This afternoon I decided to give Abigail a bath. As I was sitting in there I noticed that it needed to be cleaned. So I started to clean. I got everything done but floor and tub by the time I got Abigail out. I get her out and get her dressed and this is where the fun began.

Abigail decided that I needed help cleaning. She got a rag stuck it in the water and brought it right back out. So there was water every where. We were cleaning the tub and all of a sudden she was done. I look over and she was eating the rag. Yes the soaking wet rag with cleaner on it. I kicked her out of the bathroom, gave her water and a popsicle. I hope that there won't be any effects.

FHE and rolling over

Sunday we went to my parents house for dinner. We said we had to leave so we could have our FHE. My niece who was across the room yelled. "You can't have FHE today, it's Sunday not Monday" I told her we had ours on Sunday because Mike worked Monday nights. So we have to have it on Sunday.

It got me thinking I know most people do FHE on Monday, but I have heard that it is fine to do it on Sunday if you can't do it on Monday. Someday when Mike doesn't work on Monday nights I hope to do it then.

That night for FHE we carved our pumpkin. Which I will put pictures up later. Abigail loved the idea she was running around having fun.

Brooklyn has started rolling over to her tummy. Problem is that she hates being on her tummy so she will roll over and start screaming because she is on the tummy. She will get so upset that she can't roll back over. I think it is really funny.

sick baby and sick mommy

Last Wednesday Brooklyn started having diarrhea. It went on and on until Monday morning. She then had a few non poopy diapers, but then it came back. I called the Dr. they told me to watch what I eat and if she seems to be losing weight to bring her in. I am thinking it is dairy products. Because she was fine yesterday until I had a bowl of cereal. She hasn't had it yet today. So I am going to go a few more feedings and diapers if no poop, I will drink milk and see what happens.
I guess if it makes her sick I will not drink any milk or eat any dairy products until I am done nursing. Which will be hard on me, but it will be for my child.
Now my sickness. Sunday I got a nasty headache. Which is not really abnormal. But then my breast started hurting really bad. I woke up the next morning and it was still hurting bad and I felt like I had a nasty cold. It hurts to the point that I can't even use my arm. I am going to try to go to the Dr. I looked up the symptoms to mastitis and I have most of them. I took pain killer last night and could sleep. But as soon as I got up it started hurting again. Especially when I have to carry the baby. Mike is taking the morning off to help me.
