Mike and I have been living in this apartment for almost a year now. Since Mike is always at work or at school the neighborhood kids see me, but not Mike. Anyway this little girl who is always coming over when I go outside with Abigail, saw me get out of our car the other day to check the mail. This is our conversation.
K: Hi
Me Hi
K:Where is your baby?
Me: She is asleep in the car.
(this is when the kid looks into my open door and sees Mike.)
K: is that your dad?
Me: No that is my husband. Abigail's dad.
K: oh, where is Abigail. I want to play.
Me: She is asleep, I will see you later.
I then got back in the car and told Mike. We laughed about it.

Abigail's favorite no no
Lately Abigail has learned how to shut and close her bedroom door. It doesn't latch because you have to pull hard to close it. Anyway she will go in her room close the door and either play on her bed or pull toys out.
Today I heard her open her dresser, I say her name. She knows that we don't get in our dressers. Instead of coming out to me, she goes and closes the door. I hear the dresser again. So I get up and walk to her room and open the door. By then she had pulled all of her clothes out and was on her bed jumping trying to figure out how she could get to her window.
I told her come and clean up your clothes. She said no and continued jumping. I asked her if she wanted a time out and she whined and got of her bed, picked up one thing and put it away and then she tried to run away. I had to sit there and have her clean it up.
We are trying to teach her if you make a mess you clean it up. But mostly I am trying to teach her not to pull her clothes out of her dresser, unless we ask for it. Last week a couple of times I have put her down for a nap, and I have heard her dresser open and when I go to check on her she is sleeping on a big pile of clothes.
I guess it is just the age she is at.....

No I do not want to buy all of that!!!!
We finally got our tax return the other day. Mike and I finally got to buy food. Also some dresses for Abigail that don't show her butt off, because they are so short. We then went to the mall in Provo, I needed some more maternity skirts. All I had was a long black one. When we were walking up Mike told me to get a pair of Capri's too. So I went in thinking I will get a couple of skirts and a pair of Capri's.
Abigail was not wanting to sit still so Mike left me alone in the store, after we had picked out a few things. So I was trying to look for a few t-shirts when the sales lady came up. Usually when I come to this store they tell me if I need anything to ask, then they leave me alone. Not this lady she was like you should try on this dress and this and this. She kept putting things in the dressing room.
I decided to go try on what I picked out and she kept bringing me things to try on. Things that I wouldn't ever consider buying. Mike then came back in the store and I was like you should come in the dressing room. Which I usually don't because it just takes up space. He was surprised by the amount of clothes in there. I whispered to him what I picked out and what the lady brought. There was one dress that she picked that I did like on the hanger, but when I tried it on it didn't look good. I think it is because I carry my babies very low.
After him and I decided that to get, I went to pay and Mike went back out in the hall with Abigail, because she was getting annoyed again. The lady was like are you sure this is all you want. I was like yeah I don't need anymore. She then was showing me granola bars that they were selling and asked me if I wanted one. I said no thank you. She then said they are really good for you and your baby because of the folic acid in them. I again said no thank you. I just wanted to pay and get out of there. I think it took about 10 minutes for her to just check me out.
Later that day I was talking to my sister-in-law who is also pregnant and she had that same lady and she said that she gave her the run around too.

Dr appointment
I had a Dr appointment this morning and an ultrasound. The Ultrasound went good, the baby was still laying on her tummy. But they were able to get the things that they needed. The ultrasound tech said our baby has a beautiful heart. She is measuring about a week small but they said that is fine. Abigail also measured small.
I have still been having back pains and stuff so I told the Dr. So they gave me a shot to take the pain away. It was a thick shot and in the hip so now my hip is hurting. But if in the long run it takes the pain away I will be happy. The Dr measured my stomach and I am measuring right on. They also gave me the wonderful orange drink. I get to take it between 26 and 28 weeks. So I am going to go just right before my next Dr. appointment.

Update
So I am starting to feel better. There is no longer blood in my urine, but I am still a little bit crampy and back hurts. But I can live with that. My medicine makes me dizzy and gives me headaches. But it says on the bottle that it may do that. I decided I can live a week with a headache. I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday so I will bring it up with him. I am also having another ultrasound on Wednesday, because last time she only laid on her tummy the whole time. So they didn't get everything that they needed.
Abigail has still been doing really good with her big girl bed. She fell out of it the first time last night at 4 in the morning. I think it was the fasted that I have ran to get her in a long time. She was ok just needed some cuddling time from both mommy and daddy. Then we put her back in bed.

Kidney Stones, big girl bed
So I woke up this morning, in pain. My back was hurting really bad and my abdomen was also hurting. I thought the pain will go away. So I took a warm bath to see if that helped, but it didn't at all.
Mike's parents came up today to take us to lunch. While there I had to go to the bathroom. After I was finished I noticed that there was blood in my urine. I was like that is odd. So I went back to the table and told Mike that there was blood in my urine. We called my Dr but his office was closed today and since I have been in pain all day and had blood we called the labor and delivery. They asked us to come in. So we did.
Unfortunately when I got there I couldn't give them a urine sample like they wanted. So I was lucky enough for the to use a ca pater that takes urine out right away. That is painful. The urine that came out was red. The nurse was like this doesn't look good. They also hooked my up to the monitor so we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat. They took it out to be tested then came back and put and IV in my hand since the urine looked so bad. They also took some of my blood.
We just sat there forever waiting for the results. Just watching TV and that kind of stuff. They came back later and said I had kidney stones. Gave me medicine and said that I would be in pain the next couple of days as it passes. They also said I should take it easy, so we found a sub for our primary class.
On some good news Abigail is officially sleeping in her big girl bed. We bought one a couple of months ago, and put it up. As soon as she started climbing and playing on it we decided it was time for her to sleep in it. I put her down for the first time for nap yesterday and she did good. When we put her down for bed it was about 20 minutes of getting up but then she finally went to bed.
She is getting to be such a big girl lately. She loves to talk and go outside. She feeds herself and gets mad if we try to feed her. Our next adventure with her is going to be trying to potty train her. But I am going to wait for a couple of weeks on that one.

Stupid wasp!!!!!
Tonight Mike and I were doing homework, and Abigail was in a good mood. She was playing with books, and having fun. I was happy because that meant we could do our homework with no problem.
When Abigail went in her room and started screaming. I didn't know what happened., because usually when she falls you hear it. But we didn't hear her fall, so mike went back there and he said there was a wasp in her room. He brought me Abigail and told me she was holding her right hand. So I looked at her hand while Mike went to kill the wasp. The poor little girl had a sting on the thumb. Her thumb was swollen and red and she was screaming.
Mike called his mom to see what we should do. Mike has never been stung and I have only been stung once when I was little. She told us to put baking soda and cold water on it. We tried and she didn't want anything on her finger. So we put a wet cold towel on it. We tried to give her a Popsicle to make her happy, but she didn't want it.
Finally I gave her some medicine for pain. She sat in our laps for the rest of the night until she went to bed. She woke up about an hour later so we cuddled her again, and she finally went to bed again. Her finger was still swollen when we put her to bed. We are going to see how it is tomorrow and make sure it didn't get worse.
Luckily Mike and I finished all our homework through this.

Stairs
We have stairs in our apartment, going from front door to our living room. Abigail when she first started walking tried to walk down them and would fall down head first. After doing this about 3 or 4 times in one night she avoided going down the stairs.
Recently her favorite thing is to go outside and she has held my hand and wanted to walk down, but her legs are to short. So we both almost fell down the stairs. Which would of not been good, because I would of protected her, and probably hurt myself in the process.
So the other day I taught her how to crawl down the stairs backward. It just took one time of learning. (This was not the first time I tried, I tried when she was scared of them.) Anyway now she goes up and down the stairs all the time. If she knows Mike is coming home from work she will go and wait at the foot of the stairs for him. When he is coming in I have to warn him that she is down there.
She has also learned how to unlock the front door. She plays with the door knob trying open it and unlocks it in the process. I told Mike it was just a matter of time for her to learn how to open it. So we are planning on getting a childproof thing for the front door. Also probably for our bedroom door and bathroom door, her favorite rooms to go in.

Abigail's bad afternoon
So today Abigail has been having a bad afternoon. First I was trying to do math homework since I have a test tomorrow. She wanted to go outside so she bugged me until I took her. After we came back in she went and played in her room when I heard a crash then crying. I go running in there and she had falling head first into her toy box. I pull her out and cuddle with her for a little bit until she is happy again.
She goes off again to play then goes to her little table for a snack. She takes a drink and notices that she has no cheerios so she comes up to me and throws a snack bowl at me. We are trying to teach her to say please if she wants something. So for the next half hour she is screaming as I am trying to get her to say please. Or at least say yes when I ask her if she wants cheerios. I am trying to stay calm. She at this point is even crying for her daddy( even though he would do the same thing.) I finally got her to say yes when I asked her if she wanted cheerios and I went and got her some. She actually said thank you when I gave them to her.
After snack time she went to play in her room again. I was working on homework again and I hear her fall into her big girl bed. She is screaming again. I go in and I get her. She now has a small bump on her head. I cuddle her and she was happy again.
While all this is going on I was talking to Mike by IM and I was like Abigail is having a bad day I should give her a treat so she got ice cream. Which she loves and gets excites if she even sees it. She is happy again now, but really needs a bath.

should I go or not go
I am trying to make a decision. I want to keep going to school to get done, but at the same time I want to be home with my children. I know I don't want to go the fall semester since my baby will only be 2 months old. But I feel like if I stop I won't want to go back. I would take my last math class online, but I think that I will have a hard time doing it.
The problem with me stop going is that we will have to start paying on my student loans again that will be another couple hundred dollars a month. But on the same side if we put our kids in the daycare we find it will be about that or more. They do give financial help, but I just don't know.
Lately I am just feeling like I should go back after my kids are all in school that way I can be home for them. Mike says he will support me either way.
